Hickory Grove is now partnered with the first Baptist church in Yungay Peru! Iglesias Bautista de Yungay serves a community of 60,000+ people in the Northern Andes region of Peru and is the only Evangelical church option in the region. The pastor, Angel Montesinos and his wife Rosa are dedicated to this mountain community and along with adult Bible studies and discipleship they also offer a children’s afterschool program called ACCE Juan 3:16 that ministers to an average of 50 kids each afternoon. The kids get to memorize Bible verses, sing songs, eat a good meal and of course play! Please pray for this ministry in Peru that many would come to know the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Neighbors Assisting In Love and Service - A Baptist Men's ministry of Hickory Grove. The purpose of the NAILS ministry is to assist the community (seniors, widows, single parents, etc.) with minor repairs and other general work around the house that they are unable to perform themselves.
